BEHIND THE DESIGN

I made this after leaving a place that changed me in ways I wasn't prepared for.

I thought leaving would be enough. But it wasn't.

A year later I was still traumatized, and I wasn't getting better. Looking back, I think this drawing was one of the first times I admitted that to myself. To finally see the storm clouds forming off in the distance, and how quickly they were approaching.
